A major milestone took place today. After weeks of building, cleaning, isolating space and preparing the production floor, the first machines were moved into the Jumbo Production Room. Seeing machinery on the floor creates a real shift. Until now, everything has been preparation. Today, the room began to take on the look and feel of a production environment.
The first machines brought in are flow wrappers. These units are commonly used in the food and snack industry to individually wrap products such as snack bars, chocolate pieces, gummies, baked treats and other confectionery items. They take product on one side and send out sealed, ready to ship packages on the other.
More machines will be moved in throughout the coming days as we continue setting up the production lines.
